What do you get if you cross a Scouser, a Mexican, a Pole and a bloke from Burkina Faso?

Answer: Selftitled, a band we'll all be hearing a lot more from in the not too distant future.

Punky, spiky, up-tempo and totally gusset-busting, this Poznań, Poland-based four-piece consists of Adam from Merseyside on vocals and guitar; Edu from Mexico on drums; Szymon from Poland on bass; and Maciej, an ethnic Pole from Burkina Faso, also on guitar.

So what have they got to say for themselves?

"Dziwnym trafem spotkaliśmy się w Poznaniu i właśnie tutaj gramy."

Too right.

But if you can't make it to their next gig at the Gminne Centrum Kultury Duszniki in Poznań this coming June 28 then at least check them out on FaceBook and/or SoundCloud (which is where we grabbed the following little taster from).

Volcano Enema?

Yeah, I had one of those once.

Twelve pints of Guinness and a week-old curry.
