Moon Over Marin

moon over marin

This week's single of the month is 'Moon Over Marin' by the Dead Kennedys.

The final track on the Dead Kennedys fan-bloody-excellent Plastic Surgery Disasters album from 1982, Moon Over Marin is a little more down-tempo than most of their other stuff.

As such, it tends to put me, at least, in mind more of 70s and 80s British punk than your typical US hardcore ditty.

No idea what the lyrics are about, though.

Hats or something probably.

Most songs are.

Anyway, if you're wondering what the Dead Kennedys' frontman Jello Biafra has been up to of late, he's got a new band called the Guantanamo School of Medicine.

And here he is talking about them on some Canadian TV show I've never heard of.

In fact, I don't even know what it's called.

Which might explain why I've never heard of it.

Or what it's called.

Shoes or something probably.

Most TV shows are.

Has anyone got any crisps?
