Dub legend Mad Professor thwarts claims he's sane with mental gig in Poznan.

Thanks to a rare conjunction of the Sun, the Moon, the Earth and the spring equinox, the Multiverse unfolded so as to present yours truly with a free ticket to see dub legend Mad Professor work his magic at Eskulap in Poznań this past Saturday night (21/3/15).

And yes, I'm happy to report that Guyana's finest is still as mad as a field of March hares.

With a running commentary over top tunes like his production of True Born African by U Roy and plenty of toasting amongst the re-re-rewinds, he certainly ticked all the boxes for the crowd.

He even got out from behind the decks a few tracks in to offer a free CD to the first lucky punter who could correctly name the whereabouts of Ariwa Sounds, the studio and label he started in his living room back in 1979.

Nice one, Prof.

Enjoyed the gig!

Missed the action? Well, worry not because just for you, yes YOU, the cherished and beloved readers of the Rake & Herald, here's a couple of Mad Professor tunes embedded here on the dub-tastic Rake & Herald from the YouTube channels of Dolemite500 and Koles Git, which you can check out here and here, respectively. Oh, and if Andrzej and Bertha are tuning in, respect to the Bald Destroyer and the bestest pies around!
