This week's single of the month is 'Gabrielle' by Ween.

It's been just over 18 months since Ween broke up.

In that time, they haven't released a single record or even played a gig.

Anywhere.

What's all that about then?

STONKERS
Anyway, in the 25 years they were together, Dean Ween and Gene Ween produced some right stonkers.

In fact, I reckon we should write an article about them.

In the meantime, here's Gabrielle, which was a 2005 limited edition one-sided brown 7" single, apparently.

They had a thing for the colour brown.

Hence the name of their excellent live album Paintin' the Town Brown, which includes, in Rakey's words, "the definitive versions of Doctor Rock, Tender Situation and Mister, Would You Please Help My Pony?, not to mention Mister Richard Smoker, Mushroom Festival in Hell and She F--ks Me".

But enough already.

Here's Gabrielle, embedded from PaulTheHeretic's YouTube channel.

I can't get it out of my head.

Which is weird because they were usually off theirs.
