BA releases list of US summer seasonal craft beers.

Summertime and the drinkin' is easy.

Well, sort of because CraftBeer.com, which the US Brewers Association (BA) describes as its "website for beer lovers", has just released its list of summer seasonal craft beers produced by BA members.

According to a BA press release, many of the beers featured "include summery ingredients, such as grapefruit, banana, orange, pear, wheat malt and innovative hops that lend zesty citrus flavours perfect for the summer".

AN EXCITING TIME
"Summer is such an exciting time to be a craft beer lover in the US," says Julia Herz, CraftBeer.com publisher and the BA's craft beer programme director.

"Today we are amidst an explosion of seasonally inspired, full-flavoured, rewarding and refreshing offerings from 2,800 small and independent craft brewers."

"Summer seasonals are all about exploration and getting in touch with different craft beers from unique breweries."

The full listing, along with descriptions and regional availability, can be found here.

Please feel free to send us a crate or two.

Thirsty work being a hack, you know.

Anyway, while I'm on the subject of summer, here's Derry's finest, the Undertones, with a rather apt track from 1979 embedded here on the Rake & Herald from Colin Mason's bloody excellent YouTube channel.
