Let's do lunch

Freak8r takes on an absolutely sodding huge pizza with John Rivera while also boshing Taco Bell's full breakfast menu and 150 Chicken McNuggets to boot.

Humans, like rooks, bees and aliens, are social creatures.

They enjoy doing things together, whether that's necking a few brews down the boozer, strapping on a pair of women's tights and masturbating at trains or simply sharing a quick snack for lunch, such as a 15 lb (6.8 kg) pizza topped with ground beef, green peppers and mushrooms.

Which is perhaps why Rake & Herald competitive eating editor Naader 'Freak8r' Reda and John Rivera moseyed on over to the 8 Buck Pizza Truck in Manteca, California this past March 19 to take on the Da Big Kahuna challenge.

Oh, that and the possibility of winning wedge worth $2,500 (£1,489) provided they scoffed the lot in under 60 minutes.

But did they succeed?

Tell you what, have a watch of this and find out yourself.

Of course, while chewing the cud with a friend over a light lunch is a jolly damn fine thing to do, sometimes you just want to eat alone.

It's not that you're being antisocial or anything.

You just want a moment to yourself.

A moment to ponder life, the Multiverse and, of course, the entire Taco Bell breakfast menu.

Or 150 chicken nuggets from McDonald's.

Whatever floats your boat really.

And with all that grub, it'd better be a bloody big boat.

Bon appétit!

The above videos are all embedded here on the Rake & Herald from Freak8r's flippin' food-tastic YouTube channel, which you are strongly advised to peruse here. Meanwhile, to see Freak8r take on an earlier Taco Bell menu massacre in the company of Damon 'the Omen' Wells, give this a click. Similarly, to watch Kevin 'LA Beast' Strahle battle 150 Chicken McNuggets, click this.
