Sweet Tooth and Freak8r set new ice cream record while chap in India shoves 1,001 straws in his gob.

In some parts of the world it's summertime.

Cricket.

Pints outside.

Oh, and ice cream.

And if you're an intrepid gustatory gladiator like Matt 'Sweet Tooth' Cohen or Rake & Herald competitive eating editor Naader 'Freak8r' Reda then that means a lot of ice cream indeed.

Twenty-three ice cream sandwiches in 5 minutes in fact.

A new world record.

And no brain freeze either.

Fair bloody play!

Of course, if you're not a fan of ice cream, you could always shove 1,001 straws in your gob instead.

OK, so it's not gurgitation as such but we reckon this is ace (although it does get a bit dull after 6 minutes 10 when the counting starts).

Dinesh Shivnath Upadhyaya of Mumbai, India, we salute you!

While the first video was embedded from Freak8r's top-notch YouTube channel, the second comes from RecordSetter. Trust me, both are well worth a gander. And while you're about it, also make sure you check out Sweet Tooth's channel for plenty more vids of alimentary athleticism in action.
