The R&H wishes a happy Halloween, Allantide and Wszystkich Świętych to all our readers and contributors on all planes of existence everywhere.

Just remember, whatever you wear tonight (31/10/15), it won't come close to the Jimmy Savile costume I saw one bloke wearing in Dublin three years ago.

"I'm glad you like it, lads," the man in question told Rake & Herald culture editor DJ NRG Raver and myself as we pissed ourselves laughing.

"No fucker'll let me into their pub."

Meanwhile, that very year over in sunny California, a masked Rake & Herald competitive eating editor Naader 'Freak8r' Reda was having a hankering for some cotton candy.

Which, as you may well be aware, is most definitely not something to smile about.

No doubt Freak8r's got something up his sleeve to shove down his throat for later today/night, but until then here's what he got up to last year.

Clue: It involved the odd sweet or two.

Anyway, happy Halloween to you all.

And if you don't know what Allantide is, then you'm's probly not from Kernow, is ee?

The above two vids are both embedded here on the food-fighting-tastic Rake & Herald from Freak8r's top-notch YouTube channel, which you are strongly advised to check out and subscribe to here.

WARNING! Competitive eating can be dangerous. As well as potentially lethal choking hazards there is also the possibility of poisoning yourself, something that could lead to hospitalisation, permanent health damage and even death. Consequently, the Rake & Herald does not recommend you emulate the above video(s) yourself. Seriously. We are NOT joking. You have been warned.
