An eyeful of pancakes

Pancakes: It takes skill to eat them and talent to capture them. (Check bottom for credit)

Missed the recent pancake pummelling in Louisville? Well get a load of this then.

Matt 'Megatoad' Stonie is not just a gifted gurgitator.

He's also something of a cinematographer.

And what's more, thanks to Megatoad's audio-visual vibrancy you can now watch all the tension, drama and superhuman gob stuffing that unfurled when the inaugural Wild Eggs National Pancake Eating Championship got underway in Kentucky this past September 29.

In the end, Megatoad came a close second behind Patrick 'Deep Dish' Bertoletti, downing 47 pancakes to the latter's record gut count of 50.

However, in terms of capturing the action, Megatoad's use of two cameras, including a table-view pancake-a-vision jobbie, makes him the clear winner in our book.

Don't believe me?

Well watch it yourself right here and right now and then immediately skedaddle over to the 20-year-old master masticator's magical YouTube channel for yet more nicely shot and edited face-stuffing films and assorted displays of digestional derring-do.

Top stuff, Megatoad.

Your Oscar's in the post.
